Bharat Director Ali Abbas Zafar Struggled To Write Love Scenes For Katrina Kaif-Salman Khan
There has been a lot of excitement around Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming Eid release, Bharat that stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in main roles. The trailer earned great response and even the first song called Slow Motion that showed the sizzling chemistry between Salman Khan and Disha Patani was appreciated by the viewers.

Today, the makers dropped the teaser of the second track called Chashni and it depicted the sugary-sweet romance between Salman and Katrina. The duo has enthralled us with their chemistry in various films and this is the second time that we will see the terrific trio of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar after their last superhit fim, Tiger Zinda Hai.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the director spoke about why he cannot write love scenes between his lead pair. Said Zafar, “I realised that I cannot write love scenes between the two (Salman and Katrina) of them because even when Salman sees Katrina for the first time in the film, you automatically feel that they are made for each other. So, the task is to keep it very real and subtle. To make it as normal as possible. They both are really good looking stars and I was coming straight from Tiger where they play husband and wife and then to bring them back and write the scene where they meet for the first time in Bharat and fall in love is a process but somewhere because of the story it comes out as very natural and sweet.”

Prior to the trailer, the teaser and posters were released on social media. Also, before Katrina, the makers had roped in Priyanka Chopra who had even signed on the dotted line, but the actress walked out of the project due to her wedding with Nick Jonas, and Kat was brought in as her replacement. Bharat also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Sunil Grover. The movie releases on June 5, 2019.
